The purpose of this page is to describe the methods for managing the website in relation to processing of the personal data of the users consulting it, which shall be processed in a manner that is lawful, correct, relevant and not excessive. THE DATA CONTROLLER

Otto (VI) and are carried out only by technical personnel of the department in charge of data processing, or by persons in charge of occasional maintenance operations. Data are processed by means of data storage in electronic archives at the company, and access to the data is limited to the maintenance procedures, in compliance with the provisions of Attachment B. No data deriving from the web service shall be communicated or disseminated. Personal data supplied by users who request the dispatch of information material (newsletters, requests for information, catalogues, CD-ROMs, etc), are used for the sole purpose of performing the service requested and are communicated to third parties only if necessary for this purpose.

TYPE OF DATA PROCESSED

NAVIGATION DATA

The computer systems and software procedures in charge of website operation acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data (log files), the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected in order to be associated with identified subjects, but, due its very nature, through processing and association with data held by third parties, can allow users to be identified. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users to connect to the website, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in reply, the numerical code indicating the status of the reply given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters concerning the user’s operating system and computer environment. These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information concerning use of the website and to check its correct operation. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the case of hypothetical computer crimes to the detriment of the website and can be communicated to the Judicial Authorities, upon specific request by this latter. Data supplied voluntarily by the user The explicit and voluntary dispatching of electronic mail to the addresses indicated in this website implies subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, necessary to reply to the requests, and of any other personal data contained in the message. COOKIES

No personal data concerning users is purposely acquired by the website. Cookies are not used to transmit information of a personal nature, nor are user-tracing and identification systems used. The use of cookies is strictly limited to the transmission of session identification codes (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary for safe and efficient exploration of the website and used for statistical purposes to detect the number of visitors per month. The cookie can be deleted from the browser using the functions of the navigation program used.

VOLUNTARY NATURE OF PROVIDING DATA

Besides the aforesaid specifications regarding navigation data, the user is free to provide personal data indicated in the request forms to RONCO Spa or indicated during contacts with the Office to request the dispatching of information material or other communications. Failure to provide this data may make impossible to fulfil the request. For complete information, it must be stated that in some cases (not subject to the ordinary management of this website) the Authorities may request information pursuant to Article 157 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, for the purpose of personal data processing checks. In these cases reply is obligatory, under penalty of administrative sanctions.

METHODS OF PROCESSING

Personal data are processed with automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Specific safety measures are observed to prevent loss of data, unlawful or incorrect use and unauthorised access.

RIGHTS OF THE PERSONS CONCERNED

The data subjects to whom the personal data refer have the right to obtain confirmation of the existence of these data and to learn their content and source, to check their accuracy or request their integration or updating, or rectification (Article 7 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003). Pursuant to the same article, data subjects have the right to request erasure, anonymization or blocking of data that have been processed unlawfully, and to object in any case, on legitimate grounds, to their processing.
